Nizamabad, Telangana
Nizāmābād is a city in the Nizamabad district of the Indian state of Telangana. The city is a municipal corporation and the headquarters of Nizamabad district.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.telangana.gov.in/About/Districts/Nizamabad )〕 It is also the mandal headquarters of Nizamabad mandal. Nizamabad is one of the major urban centres and the third most populous and third largest city in the state, next to Hyderabad and Warangal. Census of India, the provisional population was 310,467. Nizamabad was founded in the year 1905〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=:: Welcome to Nizamabd.com :: )〕 when Nizam's Dominion were recognized, where up to it was known as ''Indur''.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=History of Indur )〕 The Nizam of Hyderabad ruled over the Deccan region during 18th century, the city got its name from him. It was only during 1876 Nizamabad became a separate district when the districts in Hyderabad State were reorganized by Salar Jung-I, the then prime minister. In 1905 the railway line between Secundrabad and Manmad was laid.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Tourism in India )〕 The city was named after Nizam ul Mulk, the fourth Nizam of Hyderabad state.
